Καλώδιο S/FTP Cat.5e ROLINE 300 m

ROLINE S/FTP Cable Cat.5e ROLINE 300 m is a stranded AWG26 network cable with S/FTP shielding, designed for structured building wiring and reliable data transmission. The cable has 8 conductors made of stranded copper, an alu-laminated foil shield combined with a copper braid, and an overall impedance of 100 Ohm. The grey jacket makes it suitable for visible installations in office and commercial environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides combined foil and braid shielding that reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity over Cat5e-rated links. Stranded AWG26 conductors offer flexibility for routing and installation while maintaining required electrical characteristics for 100 Ohm impedance. The 300 m reel length is convenient for longer runs and bulk deployments.

Suitable for

• Structured building cabling
• Ethernet networks up to Cat5e performance
• Office and commercial network installations
• Bulk cable runs and cable trays

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Construction: 8 lines, stranded copper (AWG26)
• Shielding: S/FTP (alu-laminated foil + copper braid)
• Impedance: 100 Ohm

How to use

Measure and cut the required cable length from the 300 m reel, taking care to preserve the shielding when terminating. Strip the outer jacket and separate the foil and braid as required by the connector or patch panel manufacturer. Terminate pairs following standard Cat5e wiring schemes (T568A or T568B) and test each link for continuity, attenuation and near-end crosstalk to verify compliance with performance expectations.

Recommendations

For best performance, install the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or unshielded power cabling, and use appropriate RJ45 connectors or keystone jacks rated for S/FTP cables. Perform certification tests after installation to ensure the link meets Cat5e parameters.
