Καλώδιο RS232 ROLINE DB9 αρσενικό - θηλυκό 3 m

The ROLINE RS232 Cable DB9 M - F 3 m is a 3‑metre grey serial cable with a 9‑pin D‑Sub (DB9) male connector on one end and a 9‑pin D‑Sub female connector on the other. It is designed to connect RS232 devices such as computers, modems, or switchboxes and provides one‑to‑one wiring for straightforward serial communication. The cable includes a connected screen line that ties into the foil shield and both connectors to help reduce electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The cable offers standard DB9 pinout with all lines connected 1:1 for direct compatibility with RS232 ports. The integrated screen line connected to the foil shield and both connectors improves signal integrity in environments with potential EMI. With a 3 m length and ROLINE build quality, it accommodates common installation distances between serial devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs or industrial controllers to modems and serial devices
• Linking an IBM AT style serial interface to a switchbox or serial hub
• Point‑to‑point RS232 communication and configuration tasks

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the DB9 male end to the RS232 output of the source device (for example a PC serial port or IBM AT style interface) and plug the DB9 female end into the receiving device such as a modem, switchbox or serial peripheral. Ensure both devices are powered off when making connections if required by the equipment, then power on and configure serial settings (baud rate, parity, stop bits) in the connected devices to match.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from high‑power cables and sources of electromagnetic noise. Check connector screws for firm engagement and avoid excessive bending at the connector ends to prolong cable life.
