Σειριακό καλώδιο DELOCK 86911, D-Sub 37-polig σε D-Sub 37-polig, μπεζ, 0,5 m

DELOCK 86911 is a 0.5 m serial cable with D-Sub 37-pin connectors on both ends in beige. It is designed for reliable short-distance serial data connections between devices that use a 37-pin D-Sub port, offering a compact wired link suitable for industrial equipment, instrumentation, and legacy computer peripherals where minimal cable length is preferred.

Advantages

This serial cable provides a secure mechanical connection with metal-shielded D-Sub housings and thumbscrews to prevent accidental disconnection. The short 0.5 m length reduces signal attenuation and clutter in confined installations. The neutral beige jacket facilitates integration into existing cabling environments without drawing attention.

Suitable for

• Connecting industrial controllers and measurement instruments with 37-pin D-Sub ports
• Linking legacy computer peripherals and expansion cards that use a 37-pin serial interface
• Short-run data connections inside control cabinets, racks, or lab benches
• Interfacing equipment for diagnostic, programming, or configuration tasks

Key specifications

• Connector type: D-Sub 37-pin to D-Sub 37-pin (male/female configuration depending on device)
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Color: beige
• Shielding: metal connector shells for improved EMI resistance
• Mechanical fastening: thumbscrews for secure connection

How to use

Align each D-Sub 37-pin connector with the corresponding port on the devices and gently insert until the connector seats fully. Tighten the thumbscrews by hand to secure the connection; avoid over-tightening to prevent damage to the connector housing. Route the cable to minimize sharp bends and avoid running parallel to high-power cables to reduce potential interference. For removal, loosen the thumbscrews and pull the connector straight out to prevent pin damage.

Recommendations

Use this short serial cable where minimal cable length is needed to maintain signal integrity and reduce clutter, such as inside cabinets, on test benches, or between closely placed devices. Inspect connectors for bent pins before use and avoid exposing the cable to excessive moisture, heat, or mechanical strain to ensure long-term reliability.
