Καλώδιο PS/2 DELOCK 87235 – 6-πολικό Mini-DIN σε 6-πολικό Mini-DIN, 1,8 m, μπεζ

DELOCK 87235 is a 1.8 m PS/2 cable with 6‑pin Mini‑DIN connectors on both ends, designed to connect PS/2 keyboards, mice and other legacy equipment that use the PS/2 interface. The single‑pack beige cable provides a wired connection for signal and power transfer and is suitable for desktop systems, KVM switches and industrial devices that require Mini‑DIN 6 connections.

Advantages

The cable uses 6‑pin Mini‑DIN male connectors on both ends for a straight PS/2 connection, maintaining compatibility with standard PS/2 ports. Its 1.8 m length provides flexibility in desktop and rack environments while the beige colour matches many traditional computer peripherals. The simple construction supports both data and power lines required by PS/2 keyboards and mice.

Suitable for

• Connecting PS/2 keyboards to desktop computers or KVM switches
• Connecting PS/2 mice to compatible host devices
• Linking industrial equipment that uses 6‑pin Mini‑DIN PS/2 interfaces
• Replacing an existing PS/2 cable with a same‑length beige cable

Key specifications

• Connector type: 6‑pin Mini‑DIN (male) on both ends
• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Product colour: Beige
• Cable gauge: 28 AWG

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting. Align the 6‑pin Mini‑DIN male connector with the PS/2 receptacle and insert gently until it seats; do not force the connector to avoid bending pins. Connect the other end to the second device in the same manner. After secure connection, power on the devices and verify that the keyboard or mouse is recognised by the host system.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and route it away from high‑voltage lines or sources of electromagnetic interference. If used with a KVM switch or industrial controller, check device compatibility with PS/2 signalling and confirm pinout expectations when integrating with legacy equipment.
