Καλώδιο Patch S/FTP Cat.6a ROLINE 70m

The ROLINE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a ROLINE 70m is a 70-meter network patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable connectivity. Constructed from 4-pair solid copper conductors with full braid shielding and foil-wrapped pairs, the cable includes screened RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection. The grey cable follows EIA/TIA 568 contact settings (1:1) and is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and multimedia applications over twisted pair (TP). The outer jacket is made from LSOH material for improved safety in installations.

Advantages

This S/FTP Cat.6a patch cord provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to complete braid shielding and individually foil-shielded pairs, supporting stable high-speed connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and reliable signal transfer. The moulded connectors with kink protection increase mechanical durability, while the 70 m length allows longer permanent or temporary runs without additional splices.

Suitable for

• Structured LAN installations requiring Cat6a performance
• PoE and PoE+ devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and access points
• Multimedia and streaming applications over TP cabling
• Server rooms and data communication runs where extended cable length is needed

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (screened overall braid + foil shielded pairs)
• Category: Cat.6a
• Length: 70 m
• Conductor: 4-pair solid copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Contact wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Jacket material: LSOH
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Unwind the 70 m patch cord carefully to avoid kinks. Terminate each end into RJ-45 ports on network devices or patch panels, ensuring the connector is fully inserted and latched. For in-wall or permanent installations, follow local cabling standards and route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Verify link integrity and performance using appropriate network testing tools after installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines, and use the cable within environmental limits specified for LSOH materials. Test the installed link at Cat6a parameters to confirm full bandwidth and PoE capability.
