Καλώδιο Patch S/FTP Cat.6a ROLINE 70 m γκρι

The ROLINE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6a is a 70 m solid grey network cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission. Constructed as a screened Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) with four solid copper pairs and full braid shielding, it reduces electromagnetic interference and is suitable for PoE and multimedia applications over twisted pair cabling. The cable is terminated with screened RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and molded kink protection for increased durability.

Advantages

The cable offers complete braid shielding plus foil-wrapped pairs for improved noise suppression, gold-plated RJ-45 contacts for consistent conductivity, and molded strain relief to protect the connector junction. Contact wiring is 1:1 according to EIA/TIA 568 standards, ensuring compatibility with standard network equipment. Its 70 m length provides extended reach for installations that require long patch runs.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and server rooms
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices such as IP cameras and access points
• Multimedia transmission over twisted pair (TP) links
• Long-distance patching where a single continuous cable run is preferable

How to use

Run the cable along the planned route, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate the screened RJ-45 connectors into compatible, shielded network ports or patch panels to maintain the shielding continuity. Ensure correct grounding of the shield at least at one point in the installation to prevent ground loops. Use the molded strain relief when pulling to protect the connector from excessive force.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from mains power lines, observe the minimum bend radius recommended by the manufacturer, and terminate shields correctly in professional installations. This cable is intended for fixed installations and long patch runs; for frequent reconnections use shorter patch cords or dedicated patch panels.
