Καλώδιο patch ROLINE S/FTP Cat.5e γκρι 20 m

Patch Cord ROLINE S/FTP Cat.5e grey 20 m is a 20-metre, factory-prepared patch cable for networking connections between devices. It uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with complete braid shielding and aluminium-clad polyester foil (S/FTP), and comes with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends with nickel-plated contacts and moulded kink protection.

Advantages

The double-shielded S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while stranded copper conductors and flexible jacket provide good bendability for installations in constrained spaces. Screened RJ-45 plugs with nickel-plated contacts ensure reliable contact and prolonged connector life. The cable is manufactured to EIA/TIA 568 contact assignment (1:1) for straightforward connection.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in office or home networks
• Patch panels and wall socket connections in server rooms and comms cabinets
• Temporary or permanent cabling where flexibility and shielding are required
• Applications up to Cat.5e performance, including 100BASE-TX and typical PoE setups

Key specifications

• Type: Patch cord, S/FTP (screened braid + foil)
• Category: Cat.5e
• Length: 20 m
• Conductors: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Contact plating: Nickel-plated
• Contact assignment: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device until it clicks. Use the other end to connect to a switch, router or wall socket. Route the cable without tight bends: maintain gentle curves and avoid kinks to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. The moulded kink protection at each connector reduces stress at the termination point.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running this cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for long distances; use dedicated cable management and avoid sharp bends below the cable's minimum bend radius. Verify Cat.5e suitability for your intended network speed and PoE power levels.
