Καλώδιο Patch LAN Extralink Cat.5e UTP 2 m, RJ-45 σε RJ-45, γκρι

Extralink LAN patchcord Cat.5e UTP, 2 m, with RJ-45 connectors on both ends in grey is a flexible unshielded Ethernet cable designed for standard Cat.5e data links. Constructed from four twisted-pair pure copper conductors and fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 plugs, the cable delivers reliable connectivity for structured cabling, patch panels, switches, routers and end devices. The 2 m length suits short runs inside racks, between wall sockets and desktop devices or for home and office network patching.

Advantages

The Extralink Cat.5e UTP patchcord provides stable signal transmission for Ethernet networks up to Cat.5e performance while remaining flexible for easy routing and installation. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The pure copper twisted pairs support standard network power delivery (PoE) according to device specifications and ensure consistent electrical characteristics across the cable length. The grey jacket offers neutral appearance suitable for mixed cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Patching switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms and network cabinets
• Connecting desktop computers, IP phones and printers to wall outlets
• Short Ethernet runs within home networks and small offices
• Structured cabling terminations and local network troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.5e (unshielded UTP)
• Cable length: 2 m
• Conductor material: pure copper, twisted pair (4 pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: grey
• Performance: supports Ethernet up to Cat.5e and PoE where supported by devices
• Flexibility: high, suitable for tight routing and patching

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 plug fully into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use the 2 m Extralink patchcord to connect switches, routers, patch panels or wall sockets to end devices such as computers, IP phones or printers. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling on the cable jacket; keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources to maintain signal integrity. Verify link status on connected devices to confirm proper connection.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat.5e patchcord for connections that require short, reliable Ethernet runs. When deploying PoE devices, confirm device power class and cable installation limits. Replace cables that show visible damage to the jacket or connectors to prevent connectivity issues.
