Καλώδιο Patch InLine Cat.8.1 U/FTP λεπτό, TPE χωρίς αλογόνα, RJ-45–RJ-45, 2 m, μαύρο

Slim InLine patch cable Cat.8.1 with U/FTP (STP) shielding is a 2 m network cable designed for high-speed, short-range connections. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts and is sheathed in a halogen-free TPE jacket in black. Engineered to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity, this cable is intended for data centres, server racks and demanding LAN installations where compact, shielded cabling is required.

Advantages

The Cat.8.1 U/FTP slim design combines high-frequency performance with a reduced cross-section, enabling easier routing in dense rack environments and cable management channels. U/FTP shielding around individual pairs and an overall shield provide improved protection against crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The halogen-free TPE jacket offers flexibility and safer material properties in case of fire compared with halogen-containing alternatives.

Suitable for

• Short-range high-speed links in data centres and server rooms
• Interconnects between switches, patch panels and servers in racks
• LAN setups requiring compact, shielded patching in congested cable trays
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is necessary

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.8.1
• Shielding: U/FTP (individual pair shielding with overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 2 m
• Jacket material: halogen-free TPE
• Colour: Black
• Form factor: slim (reduced diameter for tight routing)

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connector into the network port of the device and the other end into the corresponding port on the switch, patch panel or server. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to maintain a stable connection. Route the slim cable through cable management pathways to minimise stress on connectors and avoid sharp bends; maintain gentle bend radii consistent with structured cabling practices. Verify link status on network equipment after installation and perform testing if required to confirm expected throughput and signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.8.1 U/FTP slim patch cable for short interconnect distances typical in racks and patch panels. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible, avoid repeated tight bending at the connector boot, and replace any cable showing visible damage to jacket or connectors. For permanent horizontal cabling over longer distances, consider selecting cabling designed for that application.
