Καλώδιο Patch helos S/FTP Cat 6, καφέ, 5,0 m

Shielded patch cable helos S/FTP Cat 6, brown, 5.0 m is a network patch lead designed to deliver Category 6 performance for Ethernet and data networks. The cable features an overall braided or foil shield combined with individually foil‑shielded pairs (S/FTP) to minimize crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over a 5.0 m length. The brown jacket identifies the cable visually and the flexible construction suits standard patching scenarios between switches, patch panels and network devices in home or office setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides both overall and pair-level shielding, reducing external noise and pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. Cat 6 performance supports higher data rates and better return loss characteristics within specified distances. The 5.0 m length offers reach for typical rack-to-desk or equipment-to-equipment connections while keeping cable routing tidy. A flexible insulated jacket simplifies installation in patch panels and equipment switches without excessive stiffness.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in small office or server rack environments
• Linking network devices such as routers, NAS, and desktop PCs
• Short horizontal runs where improved EMI protection is required
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference from nearby electronics

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 performance suitable for Gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs
• Length: 5.0 m
• Color: brown jacket for visual identification
• Connector type: RJ45 terminated (standard plug for Ethernet ports)
• Conductor: twisted pair construction to meet Cat 6 requirements

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plugs into the corresponding Ethernet ports on the devices to be connected, ensuring secure seating until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends or excessive tension and avoid running parallel and close to heavy power cables to maintain shielding effectiveness. For rack installations, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors and to keep airflow unobstructed.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this S/FTP Cat 6 patch cable for runs up to its intended length and pair it with properly grounded and shielded network equipment or patch panels when available. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
