Καλώδιο Patch Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 0,25 m κόκκινο

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 0.25 m network cable engineered for reliable gigabit data transmission up to 1000 Mbit/s. Constructed from quality materials and fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, the cable provides secure contacts and long-term durability. Its S/FTP shielding (overall foil with individually braided pairs) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable signal transmission in demanding network environments. The red jacket makes the cable easy to identify in patch panels and cabling runs.

Advantages

Cat.6 specification and S/FTP construction deliver higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors help maintain low contact resistance and resist corrosion. Short 0.25 m length is useful for neat, low-latency patch connections in racks and switches. The cable is fully tested to meet industry standards for reliable performance.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network switches and servers
• Patch panels and rack installations requiring colour-coded cabling
• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) links

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and insert the other connector into the corresponding device port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Use the cable for short-distance patching inside racks or between adjacent devices to minimise excess cable and latency. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks to preserve shielding and conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the equip Cat.6 S/FTP patch cord in shielded or mixed-cable environments to reduce interference; keep cable runs short for rack-side connections and avoid running alongside high-voltage power cables.
