Καλώδιο patch duplex οπτικών ινών ShiverPeaks SC-SC 9/125µm OS1/OS2 10 m

The ShiverPeaks Fiber Optic Duplex Patch Cable SC-SC 9/125µm OS1/OS2 10 m is a singlemode duplex patch cord designed for high-speed optical links. It features SC to SC connectors on both ends and a 9/125 µm core/cladding ratio compatible with OS1 and OS2 standards. The 10 meter length and standardized ferrule connectors make this cable suitable for patch panels, racks and wall boxes in telecom rooms, data centers and network closets where low-loss, bidirectional fiber connections are required.

Advantages

This cable provides stable singlemode transmission with low attenuation thanks to the 9/125 µm fiber profile and OS1/OS2 compatibility. The duplex configuration supports simultaneous bidirectional data flow, while SC connectors ensure reliable mechanical mating and easy insertion into standard adapters and patch panels. The 10 m length offers flexibility for intermediate routing without introducing unnecessary slack in structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network equipment in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panel and rack-to-rack fiber links
• Fiber termination points in telecom rooms and distribution cabinets
• Longer intra-building singlemode connections requiring OS1/OS2 fiber

Key specifications

• Fiber type: singlemode 9/125 µm
• Standards compatibility: OS1 / OS2
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Configuration: duplex (two fibers)
• Cable length: 10 m
• Color: yellow (singlemode standard)

How to use

Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress; observe the minimum bend radius specified for singlemode fiber when installing. Insert the SC connectors into corresponding SC adapters or ports until they click into place, ensuring correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. For patching between panels or equipment, verify connector cleanliness with a fiber inspection tool and clean endfaces if necessary to minimize insertion loss and back reflection.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry environment and avoid bending beyond the cable's specified minimum radius. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform regular visual inspections of connector endfaces to maintain low-loss connections. For permanent installations, secure the cable to racks or trays to prevent movement and strain on connector joints.
