Καλώδιο Patch DIGITUS - CAT6 - U/UTP - Snagless - Cu - 2,5 m - γκρι

The DIGITUS Patch Cord CAT 6 U/UTP LSZH 2.5m is a Category 6 Ethernet patch cable designed for network connections in home and office environments. It is 2.5 meters long, uses copper conductors and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and features an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath to reduce smoke and toxic gases in case of fire. The connector is transparent red for easy identification of Category 6 cables, while the cable itself is grey.

Advantages

This Cat 6 patch cord is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications and is performance-tested up to 250 MHz, including parameters such as NEXT (near end crosstalk). The cable supports PoE+ and provides strain relief and kink protection via molded boots with latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage. LSZH sheath improves fire behaviour and lowers smoke emissions.

Suitable for

• Structured network patching in offices and data closets
• Connecting switches, patch panels and network devices
• Power over Ethernet applications (PoE+ compatible)
• Indoor installations where low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6 (Class E), tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173
• Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Length: 2.5 m
• Conductor: Copper (Cu)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Color: Grey cable, transparent red connector
• PoE support: PoE+ ready

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network port on your switch, patch panel or network device and the other connector to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch locks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or crushing, and use the molded boot with kink protection to reduce stress at the connector. For permanent installations, keep cable length and bend radius within recommended limits for Category 6 cabling.

Recommendations

Use this DIGITUS Cat 6 U/UTP LSZH patch cord for indoor network runs where compliance with Cat 6 performance and low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required. Avoid exposure to outdoor conditions and prolonged UV light. For optimal performance, do not exceed recommended bend radius and avoid tight cable bundles that could increase crosstalk.
