Καλώδιο patch ACT CAT6 S/FTP PVC λεπτόκλωνο γκρι 305 m

The ACT CAT6 S/FTP PVC stranded patch cable in grey is a 305 m bulk length cable intended for structured cabling and patching in networks requiring Cat6 performance. Constructed with individually foil‑shielded pairs and an overall braided shield (S/FTP), the cable reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The stranded conductors and flexible PVC jacket allow easier routing in trays and conduits while maintaining Gigabit Ethernet capability and compliance with Cat6 requirements.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding configuration provides improved protection against alien crosstalk and EMI compared with unshielded alternatives. Stranded conductors offer greater flexibility for patching and frequent movement without compromising signal integrity. The PVC outer jacket balances durability and pliability for installation in office and residential environments. A 305 m reel format supports large runs and reduces the number of cable joins required.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet horizontal and patch cabling in offices and homes
• Structured cabling installations with requirement for reduced interference
• Data closets and patch panels where flexible patch cords or tail runs are needed
• Voice over IP (VoIP) and multimedia network connections

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs
• Conductor type: Stranded conductors for flexibility
• Jacket material: PVC for flexibility and wear resistance
• Cable length: 305 m
• Colour: Grey
• Compatible speed: Supports Gigabit Ethernet

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 305 m bulk cable, taking care to maintain the shielding integrity when terminating. Strip the outer jacket and prepare the individually shielded pairs according to the termination standard in use (T568A or T568B). Ensure shields are properly connected to ground at the patch panel or connector to maintain the S/FTP performance. Use appropriate RJ45 stranded‑type connectors or patch panels designed for stranded Cat6 cable and test each run with a cable tester to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid tight bends and compressive loads that can deform the cable core or damage shielding. Maintain separation from high‑voltage power lines and sources of strong EMI. When terminating, use connectors and panels rated for Cat6 stranded cable and perform certification testing for installations where guaranteed performance is required.
