Καλώδιο patch ACT CAT5E U/UTP λεπτόκλωνο κίτρινο 305m

The ACT CAT5E U/UTP stranded patch cable in yellow, 305 m, is a bulk network cable designed for structured cabling and horizontal runs. It uses four unshielded twisted pairs of stranded AWG24 copper conductors covered in a PVC jacket with an overall diameter of approximately 5.6 mm. The cable supports Ethernet and other data communication needs where Category 5e electrical performance is required and its bright yellow jacket helps with visual identification in racks and cable trays.

Advantages

This ACT Cat5E cable offers the flexibility of stranded conductors for easier termination to patch panels and patch cords and reduces breakage when routed through conduits or around bends. The PVC outer material provides mechanical protection and insulation suitable for general indoor installations. Four standard color-coded pairs ensure compatibility with common wiring schemes, while the 305 m reel format is convenient for large runs and reduces joins in long horizontal cabling.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networks up to Cat5e performance (100BASE-TX / 1000BASE-T in shorter runs as supported by installation)
• Horizontal and office cabling where a flexible, stranded conductor is preferred
• Patch panels, switches and rack-mounted equipment connections after termination
• Color-coded cable management and identification in data rooms and telecom closets

Key specifications

• Cable construction: 4 pairs, unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP)
• Conductor: stranded copper, AWG24
• Pair colors: Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White
• Insulation and jacket material: PVC
• Overall diameter: approximately 5.6 mm
• Reel length: 305 meters

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 305 m reel, strip the outer PVC jacket carefully to avoid nicking the conductors, untwist pairs only as much as needed for termination, and terminate to RJ45 plugs or into a patch panel following the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Use appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and avoid crushing, and test each run with a cable tester to verify continuity and pair integrity before putting the link into production.

Recommendations

For best results use this cable for indoor, general-purpose network installations. Keep the cable away from strong electrical interference sources when possible, maintain recommended bend radii during installation, and avoid outdoor exposure or direct burial unless additional protective measures are applied.
