Καλώδιο patch ACT CAT5E U/UTP Λεπτό σύρμα Μαύρο 100m

The ACT Patch Cable CAT5E U/UTP stranded in black on a 100 m reel is a network cable designed for Ethernet and general data connections. It uses four unshielded twisted pairs and stranded AWG24 copper conductors to provide flexible routing and reliable signal transmission for installations in homes, offices, and light commercial environments. The PVC jacket offers mechanical protection and a discreet black finish suitable for visible cable runs.

Advantages

This CAT5E U/UTP stranded cable combines flexibility and durability: stranded AWG24 conductors allow easier handling and frequent movement while maintaining good conductivity for Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit applications in short to moderate runs. The unshielded twisted-pair design reduces crosstalk between pairs, and the PVC outer jacket provides resistance to abrasion and standard indoor environmental conditions. The 100 m reel format simplifies deployment for room-to-room or rack-to-wall installations.

Suitable for

• Ethernet networks (Fast Ethernet and short/medium Gigabit links)
• Patch panels, switches and wall outlets in offices and homes
• Horizontal cabling between workstations and network equipment
• Temporary or movable connections where cable flexibility is required

Key specifications

• Length: 100 m reel
• Conductor type: stranded copper, AWG24
• Pair configuration: 4 pairs, unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP)
• Conductor size per wire: 0.14 mm2
• Jacket material: PVC
• Pair colours: Blue/White, Orange/White, Green/White, Brown/White

How to use

Measure and cut the required cable length from the 100 m reel, taking care to leave service slack where needed. Strip the outer PVC jacket and arrange the individual pairs according to the termination standard used (T568A or T568B). Terminate the cable on compatible RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, or patch panels using appropriate crimping and testing tools. Route the cable following building regulations and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT5E stranded U/UTP cable for horizontal and patch cabling up to the standard recommended distances for CAT5E. Test each terminated link with a cable tester to verify pair continuity and to detect miswires or shorts. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force during installation; follow bend radius guidelines and secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management to prevent damage.
