Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ShiverPeaks BS07-500515 5m LC πράσινο

The ShiverPeaks BS07-500515 5m LC Green is an OM5 multimode fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. Designed for full duplex data transmission, this 5-metre cable supports high-speed links with low attenuation and consistent modal performance across short to medium distances. The green jacket indicates OM5 multimode specification and simplifies identification in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable provides stable multimode performance optimized for short-range high-bandwidth applications. The LC connectors ensure a compact footprint and reliable connection in dense patch panels and transceiver ports. The 5 m length balances flexibility and signal integrity for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links, while the green jacket aids quick visual identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and patching between servers and switches
• High-performance computing clusters requiring full duplex multimode links
• Enterprise network backbone segments and telecommunications rooms
• Short- to medium-reach optical links in labs and test environments

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Cable length: 5 metres
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Select appropriate transceivers or patch panel ports that accept LC connectors and support multimode OM5 fibre. Ensure connectors and transceiver faces are clean before mating to minimize insertion loss. Route the 5 m cable in a manner that avoids tight bends and excessive torsion; maintain recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Plug LC connectors into corresponding ports until they click; for full duplex links, match transmit and receive channels according to equipment port labels.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean LC ferrules with approved fibre cleaning tools before installation. Use cable management accessories to prevent stress on connectors and to maintain appropriate bend radii. For testing, verify link performance with an optical power meter or suitable fibre tester to confirm insertion loss and continuity after installation.
