Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ShiverPeaks BS07-106022 SC OS2 1 m κίτρινο

The ShiverPeaks BS07-106022 SC OS2 1 m Yellow fibre optic cable is a single-mode patch cable designed for short interconnects in networking environments. With a 1 m length and SC-to-SC connectors, this yellow OS2 cable provides a 9 µm core diameter fibre that supports long-distance, low-loss optical transmission and straightforward installation in data centers, telecom racks and patch panels.

Advantages

This SC OS2 cable offers low attenuation due to its single-mode 9 µm core, consistent optical performance across connectors and predictable signal behaviour in single-mode networks. The SC connectors provide reliable push-pull mating for quick installation and removal. The yellow outer jacket improves visibility within cable runs and rack layouts, helping to reduce handling errors during maintenance.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between equipment and patch panels
• Telecom and carrier network interconnects
• Single-mode optical trunk and distribution links
• Laboratory and test-bench optical measurements and prototypes

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC
• Cable length: 1 m
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cable management channel avoiding sharp bends and stress points. Align each SC connector with the mating port and insert until the connector latches; the push-pull mechanism secures the connection. When disconnecting, depress the SC latch and gently withdraw the connector. Maintain clean connector endfaces by inspecting and, if necessary, cleaning with proper fibre cleaning tools before mating to prevent insertion loss.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry environment, avoid tight bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and keep connector endfaces protected with dust caps when not in use. For optimal performance, use compatible single-mode equipment and verify link performance after installation using an optical power meter or OTDR as appropriate.
