Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών ShiverPeaks BS07-530115 0,5 m LC SC πράσινο

The ShiverPeaks BS07-530115 0.5m OM5 fibre optic cable with LC to SC connectors is designed for short interconnects in high-bandwidth network environments. Its 50 µm multimode core supports high-speed, full-duplex data transmission and is suitable for modern data centre cabling, server-to-switch links and equipment patching. The green jacket provides a clear visual cue for OM5 multimode identification and helps simplify cable management during installation.

Advantages

This 0.5m LC–SC OM5 fibre cable offers low insertion loss and consistent signal quality for reliable short-distance connections. The LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other enable compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and network ports. The compact length reduces excess slack in patch panels and racks, while the standardized 50 µm core supports multimode transmission modes suitable for high-density environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre patch panels and equipment racks
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch short links
• Telecommunications rooms and network distribution frames
• High-bandwidth multimode connections and short-reach applications

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector A: LC (single/duplex)
• Connector B: SC (single/duplex)
• Mode: multimode, full duplex
• Cable color: green (OM5 identification)

How to use

Connect the LC end to the LC port on the transceiver or equipment and the SC end to the corresponding SC port, ensuring connectors are clean and free from dust before insertion. Align connectors carefully and push until the latch engages. For patch panel installations, route the 0.5 m cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to cable management points to prevent strain on connectors. Verify link status and perform an optical test if required to confirm appropriate insertion loss and signal integrity.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools prior to each connection. Avoid bends below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and protect unused connectors with dust caps. Use this short-length OM5 cable for intra-rack or adjacent-rack connections where high bandwidth and minimal slack are required.
