Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών SC/SC 1 m ShiverPeaks CO 77921

This 1 meter SC/SC fibre optic cable from ShiverPeaks uses OM2 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication. It is designed for short- to medium-range high-speed networking where reliable optical connections are required, and it fits standard SC connectors on both ends for straightforward installation in patch panels, switches and active devices.

Advantages

The OM2 multimode construction provides consistent modal bandwidth for typical enterprise and data centre links. Full duplex support allows simultaneous bidirectional data transmission over paired fibres, reducing latency for network traffic. The 1 m length minimizes excess slack in patching scenarios while the SC/SC terminations offer secure push-pull connections and a stable optical interface. The cable jacket and connector assembly are built for routine handling in rack environments.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Short-run fibre links within data centres and server rooms
• Multimode network segments using OM2 fibre
• Full duplex optical connections in enterprise LANs

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC (both ends)
• Length: 1 meter
• Transmission mode: full duplex (duplex multimode)

How to use

Install the cable by aligning and inserting each SC connector into the corresponding SC ports on your devices or patch panel until the connectors click into place. Ensure the fibre route avoids tight bends and pinch points; maintain bend radius recommendations for multimode fibre. For removal, depress the connector latch and gently withdraw to avoid damaging the ferrule. Verify optical link integrity with appropriate testing equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m SC/SC OM2 cable for short patching runs where multimode OM2 performance is sufficient. Keep connectors covered when not in use to prevent contamination, clean endfaces before mating, and store the cable coiled loosely to preserve fiber integrity.
