Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77940 10 m LC πορτοκαλί

The ShiverPeaks S/CONN 77940 is a 10 m multimode fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends. Designed for OM2 networks, the cable has a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex transmission for bidirectional data flow. Its orange jacket provides clear visual identification in racks and cable management systems and the 10 metre length offers flexibility for connections between equipment in data centres, server rooms and network cabinets.

Advantages

The OM2 fibre construction with a 50 µm core enables stable short- to medium-distance data transmission with low attenuation when used within standard multimode infrastructure. LC-to-LC terminations ensure compatibility with common SFP+ and transceiver modules that accept LC interfaces. The orange outer jacket aids identification and organisation, while the pre-terminated connectors reduce installation time and potential signal loss compared with field-terminated connections.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, servers and patch panels within data centre racks
• Linking fibre patch panels and optical transceivers supporting LC connectors
• Network installations requiring a visible, standard-colour multimode cable for maintenance

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode optical fibre (OM2)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Length: 10 m
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Route the fibre optic cable through cable management trays or along designated pathways to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on transceivers, patch panels or network equipment until it clicks to secure the connection. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss. When disconnecting, depress the LC latch before pulling the connector straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Store unused connectors with protective caps and avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius. Use this OM2 50 µm LC cable for short-to-medium reach multimode links and verify that connected transceivers and equipment support LC interfaces and the multimode fibre specification for optimal performance.
