Καλώδιο AOC QSFP56 σε QSFP56 7 m BlueOptics BO070703W7M-BO, Κυανό

BlueOptics BO070703W7M-BO is a 7 m active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP56 connectors on both ends, engineered to provide a low-latency, high-bandwidth link for InfiniBand and 200 Gbit/s Ethernet interconnects. The cyan-coloured cable is compact and lightweight (0.23 kg), intended for direct connections between QSFP56 ports on switches, network interface cards and storage systems in data centres and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

This AOC eliminates the need for separate transceivers and fibre patch cords by integrating optics within the cable assembly, reducing system complexity and improving signal integrity. With QSFP56 connectors on both ends and support for 200 Gbit/s links, the cable offers consistent, low-latency performance for short-reach connections while its 7 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or adjacent-rack setups. The factory-terminated design ensures plug-and-play installation and predictable optical and electrical characteristics.

Suitable for

• Direct server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in data centres
• High-performance computing clusters using InfiniBand or 200 Gbit/s links
• Storage area networks and storage-to-switch interconnects
• Short-reach high-bandwidth connections within racks or between adjacent racks

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Cable length: 7 m
• Connectors: QSFP56 to QSFP56 (male)
• Rated data rate: 200 Gbit/s
• Weight: 0.23 kg
• Colour: Cyan

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP56 AOC by inserting each QSFP56 connector into compatible QSFP56 ports on the devices to be linked, ensuring connectors click into place and module latches engage. No additional transceivers or fibre patching is required. Verify link status on connected equipment and, if present, check that the host firmware or driver recognises the AOC. Avoid sharp bends and follow vendor routing recommendations to maintain optical performance; the cable is intended for short-reach interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings during insertion and removal, maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by the manufacturer, and keep connectors free of dust. Use this 7 m QSFP56 AOC for rack-level and adjacent-rack connections where 200 Gbit/s bandwidth and low latency are required. For longer distances, consider appropriate active or passive solutions specified for the target reach.
