Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών InfiniBand ShiverPeaks 77929/4 1 m

The ShiverPeaks InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1 m is designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding networking environments. Featuring OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and a 1 metre length, this cable supports full duplex communication and is fitted with LC and ST connectors to provide compatible terminations for various switches, transceivers and network panels.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides a balance of bandwidth and reach suitable for modern data center and enterprise network topologies. The 50 µm core supports high transmission rates with lower modal dispersion compared to lower-grade multimode fibres. Fitted LC and ST connectors allow flexible interfacing with equipment that accepts those terminations. The 1 m length reduces excess cable slack in rack and patch panel installations, simplifying cable management and minimizing signal attenuation from unnecessary bends.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between InfiniBand switches and host channel adapters
• Short-run patching in data center racks and telecom cabinets
• Connections to transceivers and media converters with LC or ST ports
• High-bandwidth applications requiring multimode OM4 performance

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connectors: LC and ST
• Length: 1 m
• Communication mode: full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors and fibre ends for cleanliness before installation. Align and insert the LC and ST connectors into corresponding ports on network devices or transceivers until they click or seat firmly. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. For patching in racks, use appropriate cable management accessories to secure the 1 m run and prevent strain on connector terminations.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal signal integrity, keep connector endfaces clean using appropriate fibre cleaning tools and avoid kinking the cable. Use the 1 m length for short patch runs close to equipment to minimize excess slack, and verify compatibility of LC and ST terminations with your devices before deployment.
