Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O6353.10 10 m SC ST πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O6353.10 10 m fibre optic cable is a multimode OM2 link designed for reliable short- to medium-distance data transmission. It has a 50 µm core diameter and terminates with an SC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other, providing a full duplex optical connection in an orange jacket that indicates multimode operation. This cable is intended for structured cabling, equipment interconnects and network segments that require low-attenuation multimode performance.

Advantages

This OM2 fibre cable offers consistent multimode signal quality with low insertion loss and stable connector performance thanks to factory-terminated SC and ST connectors. The 10 m length provides flexibility for patching between racks, switches and optical transceivers without the need for splices. The orange outer jacket simplifies identification in multimode installations and the full duplex configuration supports simultaneous bi-directional data flow for networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network switches, routers and media converters
• Patch panels and data centre rack-to-rack links
• Short- to medium-range fibre links within office and campus environments
• Multimode transceiver connections supporting 50 µm core

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode (OM2)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 10 m
• Connector A: SC (female)
• Connector B: ST (male)
• Cable colour: Orange
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean if necessary to avoid signal loss. Route the cable following minimum bend radius recommendations for multimode fibre and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling force. Insert the SC connector into the corresponding SC port and align the ST connector with the bayonet-style ST adapter, twisting to secure. Verify link integrity using optical testing equipment or by checking network status indicators on connected devices.

Recommendations

Use this OM2 cable for intra-building and campus connections where 50 µm multimode performance is suitable. For runs longer than the recommended distance for targeted data rates or for single-mode transceiver use, select an appropriate fibre type. Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, and perform regular connector inspections to maintain low attenuation and reliable link performance.
