Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O6353.1 1 m SC ST πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O6353.1 1 m SC–ST fibre optic cable is a simplex OM2 multimode connection designed for short- to medium-range high-speed data transmission. It features a 50 µm core diameter and factory-terminated SC connector on one end and ST connector on the other, enabling full-duplex links when paired with appropriate transceivers and patch panels. The cable's orange jacket follows common multimode colour coding for easy identification in data centers and network closets.

Advantages

This 1 m OM2 multimode fibre offers low insertion loss and consistent signal integrity suitable for typical Ethernet and telecom links within buildings. The combination of SC and ST connectors provides compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment and legacy devices. The orange outer jacket simplifies cable management and reduces the risk of misrouting in dense cabling environments.

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode OM2
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: SC on one end, ST on the other end
• Polarity: Designed for full-duplex links when used in pairs or with appropriate patching
• Jacket colour: Orange (multimode identification)

How to use

Before installation, verify that both ends match the connector types on your equipment and that the fibre grade (OM2, 50 µm) is compatible with the optical transceivers used. Handle the cable by the connectors and avoid bending the fibre beyond its minimum bend radius. Connect the SC end by aligning the key and pushing into the adapter until it clicks; insert the ST end and secure with the bayonet twist. If used in a full-duplex link, ensure transmit and receive pairs are correctly crossed or routed according to your patch panel labelling.
