Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O3484.2 2 m LC πολύχρωμο

The EFB Elektronik O3484.2 is a 2 m OM2 multimode fibre optic cable with LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter. The cable features 12 coloured pigtails with dyed fibres of 900 µm and 250 µm in red, green, yellow, white, grey, brown, violet, turquoise, black, orange and pink. It conforms to the DIN VDE 0888 standard and each purchase unit includes an individual measuring protocol, making it suitable for reliable data connections in networks and data centres.

Advantages

This multicolour LC cable provides clear colour identification of individual fibres for simplified installation and maintenance. The OM2 50 µm core supports high-speed multimode data transmission over short to medium distances. Supplied with an individual measuring protocol and compliant with DIN VDE 0888, the product offers traceable quality and documentation for professional use.

Suitable for

• Interconnections in data centres and server rooms
• Multimode network links and patch panels
• Laboratory setups and fibre assemblies requiring colour-coded pigtails
• Installation and testing where DIN VDE 0888 compliance is required

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: LC
• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Pigtail fibres: 12 coloured, dyed 900 µm and 250 µm
• Colours: red, green, yellow, white, grey, brown, violet, turquoise, black, orange, pink

How to use

Prepare the installation points and patch panels according to site layout, then connect the LC connectors to compatible LC ports on devices or adaptors. Use the colour-coded pigtails to route and identify individual fibres during termination or splicing. Follow standard fibre handling procedures to avoid bending below minimum radius and to keep end faces clean. Use the included measuring protocol to verify attenuation and continuity after installation.

Recommendations

Handle fibres with care: avoid sharp bends, secure cables to prevent strain, clean connector end faces before mating and store spare pigtails in protective tubing. Use appropriate testing equipment to confirm conformity with network specifications and the provided measurement report.
