Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O2513.3 3 m SC κίτρινο

The EFB Elektronik O2513.3 is a 3 m single-mode fibre optic cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in networked environments. It uses OS2 fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and SC connectors on both ends, supporting full duplex communication. The cable's yellow jacket provides standard colour coding for single-mode links and helps with quick identification in patch panels and cable trays.

Advantages

This fibre cable delivers low attenuation and stable signal performance over longer distances thanks to OS2 single-mode construction and a 9 µm core. SC connectors on both ends provide push-pull mating with consistent insertion loss and return loss characteristics. The 3 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel connections while the yellow outer jacket simplifies identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Telecommunications backbone links in building distribution
• Fiber-optic equipment testing and lab connections
• Structured cabling in enterprise network rooms

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC (both ends)
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: yellow (single-mode standard)
• Communication: full duplex

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections. Align the SC connector with the adapter or transceiver port and push until it clicks to secure the connection. Use gentle bends and maintain recommended bend radii to avoid microbends that can increase attenuation. Route the cable along existing cable management paths and secure it to avoid strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment, keep connector dust caps on until installation, and use certified cleaners for endface maintenance. Avoid kinking or tight bends; follow manufacturer bend radius guidelines and protect connections in high-traffic areas with suitable management hardware.
