Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0348.3 3 m ST μωβ

The EFB Elektronik O0348.3 is a 3 m OM4 fibre optic cable with ST connectors on both ends. It has a 50 µm core diameter designed for high-speed data transmission with low attenuation, suitable for network links in data centres and enterprise installations. The cable uses an LSZH sheath and aramid yarn reinforcement to provide mechanical stability and improved tensile resistance.

Advantages

The cable features OM4 multimode fibre for higher bandwidth over short and medium distances and ST metal bayonet connectors for secure connections. A halogen-free, flame-retardant LSZH outer jacket reduces toxic fumes in case of fire, while aramid yarn reinforcement enhances durability and tension resistance. Each patch cord is 100% tested and supplied with an individual test report, and connectors meet industry quality grades for consistent performance.

Suitable for

• Data centre trunking and interconnects
• Enterprise network backbone and equipment connections
• High-speed multimode links and server-to-switch connections

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: ST to ST (metal bayonet)
• Outer jacket: LSZH (halogen-free, flame retardant)
• Reinforcement: Aramid yarn for tensile strength
• Tested: 100% tested with individual test report

How to use

Connect the ST connectors to compatible ST ports on transceivers, patch panels or network equipment. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to avoid signal loss; use a fibre cleaning tool if available. Route the cable following standard bend-radius guidelines for OM4 multimode fibre and avoid sharp bends or crushing. Secure the cable in cable management trays or panels to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, clean connectors before installation, keep bend radius above the manufacturer's minimum, and install in environments compatible with LSZH jacket properties. Use this OM4 ST patch cord for short- to medium-distance high-bandwidth multimode links within data centres and enterprise networks.
