LogiLink Patch Cable Cat.5e U/UTP, 2.00 m, black, with RJ45 connectors on both ends. This Cat5e networking cable supports standard Ethernet connections and is suitable for connecting computers, routers, switches and other network devices. The unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction and AWG 26/7 conductor provide reliable data transmission for typical home and office networks.

Advantages

The cable uses AWG 26/7 conductors with copper-clad aluminium wire and a flexible PVC jacket for ease of routing. RJ45 connectors on both ends provide compatibility with common Ethernet ports. The 2 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management, and the black colour blends into most setups. The product conforms to the TIA/EIA-568-B standard.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops and network printers to routers or switches
• Patch panel to switch connections in small office racks
• Home network connections for internet access and streaming

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e (TIA/EIA-568-B)
• Length: 2.00 m
• Cable type: U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
• Conductor: AWG 26/7, copper-clad aluminium
• Connectors: RJ45 — both ends
• Jacket: Flexible PVC
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 40 g

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices to be connected until the connector latches. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; secure with cable ties or clips if needed. For best performance, keep the cable separate from power cables and sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat5e U/UTP cable for standard Fast Ethernet and many Gigabit LAN applications where Cat5e performance is sufficient. Replace the cable if the jacket is damaged or if you require higher category specifications (Cat6/Cat6a) for extended performance margins.
