Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik O0320.50 50 m LC SC πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O0320.50 is a 50 m OM2 multimode fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors, designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Featuring a 50 µm core diameter and support for full duplex communication, this orange-jacketed cable provides clear signal paths between networking equipment such as switches, media converters, and patch panels. Its visible outer sheath aids identification and routing in server rooms and installation environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers stable multimode performance suitable for medium-distance links in local area networks. The combination of LC and SC terminations provides compatibility with a wide range of network devices and simplifies integration. The durable orange jacket increases abrasion resistance and makes the cable easy to locate in cable trays and racks, while the 50 µm core supports common multimode transmission standards used in enterprise and telecom settings.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches and routers in data centers and server rooms
• Patch panel to equipment connections in structured cabling
• Linking media converters and optical transceivers
• Temporary or permanent installations requiring visible, protected fibre runs

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode (OM2)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 50 m
• Connector types: LC to SC
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket color: Orange

How to use

Route the cable along planned pathways keeping bend radii within manufacturer-recommended limits for multimode fibres. Connect the LC end to devices or patch panels with LC ports and the SC end to equipment or panels with SC ports, ensuring connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal loss. Secure the cable in trays or ties without compressing the jacket and avoid tight bends or crushing when installing through conduits or racks.

Recommendations

Clean fibre connectors with appropriate lint-free wipes and optical cleaning solution before installation, maintain minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance, and store or install the cable in environments free from excessive tension, moisture, and mechanical stress to ensure long-term reliability.
