Καλώδιο οπτικής ίνας EFB Elektronik O0320.25 25 m LC SC πορτοκαλί

The EFB Elektronik O0320.25 is a 25 m OM2 multimode fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors in an orange jacket. Designed for full duplex links, the cable has a 50 µm core diameter and is intended for high-speed data transmission between active network equipment. Its OM2 grade enables reliable short- to medium-range connections in data centers, telecom racks and structured cabling installations where consistent optical performance and compatibility with standard multimode transceivers are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides stable full duplex communication and low insertion loss thanks to its LC and SC connector pairing. The OM2 multimode core supports commonly used multimode transceiver modules and enables sufficient bandwidth for many enterprise and datacenter applications. The 25 m length balances reach and manageability, while the orange outer jacket makes the cable easy to identify within structured cabling bundles. Construction and connector types focus on compatibility and straightforward installation in patch panels and optical equipment.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, servers and transceivers in data centers
• Optical links in telecom racks and network closets
• Structured cabling backbones and horizontal fibre runs up to 25 m
• Connecting multimode SFP/SFP+ transceivers and optical media converters

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Fibre type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC
• Connector B: SC
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Jacket color: Orange

How to use

Route the cable along the intended path, avoiding sharp bends and tight bundles that exceed the fibre bend radius. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle and the SC connector into the SC adapter or port until they click into place. Ensure both ends are clean before connection by inspecting or using appropriate fibre cleaning tools to reduce insertion loss. For patching, secure the cable in cable management channels or on patch panels to prevent mechanical strain on connectors and fibres.

Recommendations

For optimal optical performance, clean connectors before each connection, maintain bend radius guidelines, and avoid kinking. Use this OM2 multimode cable for short- to medium-distance links where compatibility with multimode transceivers is required. Store coiled cables without tight loops and protect connectors with dust caps when not in use.
