Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών EFB Elektronik κίτρινο InfiniBand 2 m E-2000 (LSH)

The EFB Elektronik gelb InfiniBand 2 m E-2000 (LSH) fibre optic cable is a 2‑metre single‑mode OS2 patch cable designed for high‑speed data transmission. It features polished single‑mode cores with a 9 µm diameter and E‑2000 (LSH) connectors on both ends, providing low insertion loss and reliable optical performance for demanding networks. The cable's yellow jacket identifies it as single‑mode, making it suitable for backbone links, rack-to-rack connections and InfiniBand infrastructures in data centres and high‑performance computing environments.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre cable offers consistent single‑mode transmission characteristics, low attenuation and good return loss thanks to its 9 µm core and quality connector interfaces. The E‑2000 (LSH) connector design ensures stable mating and protection of the ferrule, reducing the risk of contamination and mechanical damage. With a standard 2 m length and a flexible outer jacket, the cable is easy to route in server rooms and patch panels while maintaining signal integrity for long‑reach and short‑reach optical links.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand interconnects in high‑performance computing clusters
• Data centre rack‑to‑rack optical patching
• Backbone single‑mode links and optical distribution frames
• Low‑loss connections for storage area networks (SAN)

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OS2 single‑mode
• Length: 2 metres
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: E‑2000 (LSH) on both ends
• Jacket colour: yellow (single‑mode identification)
• Usage: designed for InfiniBand and high‑speed optical links

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before connecting and, if necessary, clean using appropriate fibre‑optic cleaning tools. Align and insert the E‑2000 (LSH) connectors into compatible adapter ports until the connector latches or seats. Avoid bending the cable below the manufacturer's minimum bend radius and secure excess length to prevent strain on the connectors. To disconnect, release the connector latch where applicable and gently withdraw the connector from the adapter.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces protected when not in use, avoid tight bends and maintain proper patch panel routing. Use the cable in temperature and humidity conditions specified for standard data‑centre fibre installations and perform regular inspections to prevent contamination or mechanical wear that could affect optical performance.
