Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών duplex InLine SC/ST 50/125µm OM4 7,5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/ST 50/125µm OM4 7.5m is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-speed network links using SC and ST connectors. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 graded-index fiber, the cable supports reliable full-duplex transmission and is intended for use in structured cabling, data centers, and backbone connections where increased bandwidth and improved modal performance are required.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable combines SC and ST connector terminations to provide flexible connectivity between different types of network equipment. The 50/125µm multimode OM4 fiber offers lower attenuation and higher modal bandwidth compared with earlier multimode types, enabling longer reach and higher data rates in LAN and campus environments. The 7.5 m length allows convenient patching between racks, panels, and active devices without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centers
• High-speed Ethernet links (multimode environments)
• Backbone and horizontal cabling in enterprise networks
• Fiber optic test setups and equipment interconnections

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector A: SC (single connector of SC type)
• Connector B: ST (single connector of ST type)
• Mode: Duplex (two fibers for simultaneous transmit and receive)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Typical applications: Data center patching, LAN backbone

How to use

Inspect both connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and, if necessary, clean them with appropriate fiber-optic cleaning tools. Connect the SC end to devices or patch panels with SC ports and insert the ST end into devices or adapters that accept ST connectors, ensuring a secure and correct mating. Route the cable following proper bend-radius guidelines for multimode fiber to avoid microbends and maintain signal integrity. For duplex operation, observe proper Tx/Rx orientation between endpoints to establish full-duplex communication.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight bends and avoid pulling on the fiber; use the connector bodies when inserting or removing. For optimal performance, use with equipment rated for multimode OM4 fiber and verify link performance after installation with appropriate optical test equipment.
