Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών DeLOCK 84867 5m LC ST μωβ

The DeLOCK 84867 is a 5 m OM4 fibre optic cable with an LC connector on one end and an ST connector on the other. With a 50 µm core diameter and violet jacket, it is intended for high-speed data transmission and easy cable identification in network racks, data centres and other structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre provides improved bandwidth and transmission distance compared with lower-grade multimode cables; the combination of LC and ST connectors allows direct connection between devices using these common connector types; the 5 m length covers typical rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment links; the violet jacket simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting an SFP-equipped NIC to a switch or media converter
• Interconnecting network equipment in data centres and server rooms
• Structured cabling installations requiring OM4 multimode fibre

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 84867
• Length: 5 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connectors: LC (one end) to ST (other end)
• Colour: Violet
• EAN: 4040849959554

How to use

Ensure both devices support multimode fibre and the connector types (LC and ST). Align the LC connector with the LC receptacle and insert until it clicks; align the ST connector and insert, then twist-lock if required. Avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius and keep connectors clean—use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight loops, protect connector end-faces with dust caps when not in use, and follow standard fibre-handling procedures to prevent contamination or damage to the optical interfaces.
