Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών DeLOCK 84802 2x LC 2x SC OS2 5 m κίτρινο

The DeLOCK 84802 is a 5 m fibre optic cable with 2x LC and 2x SC connectors and OS2 single-mode fibre. It is intended for reliable data transmission between networking devices such as switches, media converters and patch panels. The cable's 9 µm core and yellow jacket allow straightforward identification and stable signal propagation in long-distance and high-bandwidth applications.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers OS2 single-mode performance for low attenuation and good signal integrity over longer distances. The combination of LC and SC connectors provides compatibility with equipment that uses either connector type. The 5 m length covers common rack-to-rack or equipment-to-converter connections while the yellow outer jacket facilitates cable management in installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a network switch to a media converter
• Patch panel to network device connections
• Single-mode fibre links in telecommunications and data centres

How to use

Verify connector types on both devices before installation. Align and insert the LC and SC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click or seat securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or crushing; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius for single-mode fibre. After connection, test the link with appropriate optical test equipment to confirm signal levels and continuity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable carefully to protect the fibre. Avoid bending the cable below its minimum bend radius and keep connector end faces clean; use dust caps when not connected and clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before making connections.
