Lindy 46381 καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 2 m LC ST πράσινο

The Lindy 46381 2 m LC–ST OM3 fibre optic cable is designed for short-range, high-performance network links that require multimode transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 specification, the cable supports high-bandwidth, full-duplex data transmission over a 2 metre patch length. The LC connector on one end and the ST connector on the other provide compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment such as transceivers, switches and patch panels that use those interface types.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode construction with a 50 µm core delivers consistent signal quality for high-speed networks and low insertion loss for typical datacentre and campus runs. The combination of LC and ST connectors allows flexible connectivity between modern LC-equipped transceivers and legacy ST ports. A 2 m length keeps patching tidy while minimising excess cable management. The green jacket provides easy visual identification in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Short-range multimode links in data centres and server rooms
• Connecting LC transceivers to ST-equipped networking devices
• Patch panel to switch or switch-to-switch connections within racks
• Structured cabling where OM3 performance and 50 µm core are required

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Multimode grade: OM3
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector types: LC (one end) and ST (other end)
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Outer jacket colour: Green

How to use

Ensure both ends are clean before installation using appropriate fibre cleaning tools or wipes. Insert the LC connector into the LC receptacle by aligning and gently pushing until it clicks, and insert the ST connector into the ST socket, aligning the bayonet and twisting until it locks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with suitable cable management to prevent strain on the connectors. For best performance, keep the cable within its specified bend radius and avoid tight coils or kinks.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC–ST patch cable for multimode connections up to short distances where 50 µm core performance is required. Regularly inspect and clean connector end-faces to maintain low insertion loss. When mixing connector types in a deployment, verify transceiver and equipment compatibility before installation.
