Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών BlueOptics 3HE13896AA-3-BO 3 m MPO 4x LC

The BlueOptics 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with MPO to 4x LC terminations is designed for high-density, high-throughput networking environments. Built with OM4 multimode fibre, this 3 m link supports elevated bandwidth and low attenuation for reliable data transmission in data centers, server rooms and high-performance computing clusters. The cable combines an MPO multi-fibre connector on one end and four LC connectors on the other end to simplify parallel optics connections and reduce patching complexity.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers increased modal bandwidth and lower insertion loss compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling higher data rates and extended reach for short-reach parallel links. The MPO to 4x LC breakout reduces the need for additional fan-out assemblies, saving space in racks and improving cable management. The factory-terminated connectors ensure consistent optical performance and reduce field termination errors.

Suitable for

• Parallel optics links and InfiniBand clusters requiring MPO to LC fan-out
• High-density patch panels and switch interconnects in data centers
• High-performance computing (HPC) environments and storage networks
• Short to medium distance multimode connections within equipment rooms

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Length: 3 m
• Connector A: MPO multi-fibre connector
• Connector B: 4 × LC duplex connectors (breakout)
• Application: InfiniBand and multimode fibre networks
• Construction: Factory-terminated, breakout assembly

How to use

Route the cable through existing cable management paths and avoid sharp bends to maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the fibre manufacturer. Connect the MPO end to the MPO port on the transceiver or patch panel and plug the LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports on the target devices or patch panels, ensuring correct channel mapping for parallel links. Inspect connector endfaces before mating and use dust caps when connectors are not in use to prevent contamination.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, perform end-to-end testing after installation to verify loss and continuity. Use MPO-compatible cleaning tools and follow standard multimode fibre handling procedures. Deploy OM4 cabling for applications requiring enhanced modal bandwidth and lower attenuation, and plan cable routing to minimize stress and maintain consistent channel polarity.
