Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών BlueOptics 15 m MPO/UPC 4x LC 3HE13896AA-15-BO

The BlueOptics InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15 m MPO/UPC 4x LC is a 15-metre multimode fibre cable engineered for high-speed data transmission in professional networking environments. Featuring an MPO/UPC multi-fiber connector on one end and four LC connectors on the other, this cable supports parallel optical links commonly used in InfiniBand installations and short-range data centre interconnects. The cable uses OM4 multimode fibre to maintain high bandwidth and low attenuation over the specified distance, providing predictable performance for server racks, switches and storage arrays.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode fibre assembly combines MPO/UPC to 4x LC connectivity to enable high-density, high-throughput links while reducing cabling complexity. The 15 m length offers flexibility for inter-rack and intra-rack routing without signal repeaters for typical short-reach applications. Durable connector housings and standardized terminations provide consistent optical performance, low insertion loss and simplified installation in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand links between switches and servers
• Short-range data centre interconnects and top-of-rack cabling
• High-density patch panels and breakout applications
• Storage area network (SAN) and high-performance computing (HPC) environments

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Connector (one end): MPO with UPC polish
• Connector (other end): 4 × LC
• Configuration: MPO to 4x LC breakout
• Application: Short-reach, high-bandwidth links (InfiniBand, data centre)

How to use

Route the MPO/UPC end to the MPO-capable trunk or transceiver and connect the four LC ends to the corresponding LC ports on switches, servers or patch panels according to your system’s port mapping. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating; use appropriate dust caps during handling. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable with suitable management hardware to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent microbending losses.

Recommendations

For best results, verify MPO polarity and LC port mapping prior to deployment, use fibre cleaning tools to maintain low insertion loss, and follow data centre cable management practices to avoid excessive stress on the fibre. Use this OM4 assembly where short-reach, high-throughput multimode connections are required.
