How to use

Mount the coupling into a suitable M20-threaded hole in an enclosure, panel or housing and tighten until the silicone seal seats to achieve the IP68 protection. Insert the USB-A plugs from the two cables or devices into the female ports to reverse or extend the USB connection. No special tools are required for installation; ensure the mating connectors are fully seated to maintain shielding and environmental protection.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, use shielded USB-A cables and ensure the silicone seal is clean and undamaged before installation. Avoid excessive bending at the cable entry and observe the specified temperature range. The coupling is intended for USB-A connections requiring protection from dust and moisture and is not a substitute for data-rate-critical cable assemblies beyond the specified 5 Gb/s.
