Καλώδιο Ethernet ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 2 m μπλε

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable, 2 m, blue, provides a durable connection for networks supporting data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The cable comes with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold and U/UTP construction to reduce electromagnetic interference. It is available in copper and copper-clad aluminum variants and multiple lengths and colours to suit different installation needs.

Advantages

The cable is reinforced with strain relief and a snagless latch protector to improve durability during installation and everyday use. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. U/UTP shielding helps minimise crosstalk and external interference, making the cable suitable for typical home and office Ethernet setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home networks
• Ethernet connections in small office environments
• Patch cabling between network devices supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X)

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair, overall unshielded)
• Plated contacts: Gold-plated RJ-45
• Weight: 0.089 kg
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (router, switch or PC) and the other into the destination device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the integrated strain relief reduces stress at the connector ends during normal handling.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the ProXtend CAT5e cable in structured cabling up to 1000 Mbit/s and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference. Choose copper (CU) variants for maximum conductivity when required.
