Καλώδιο Ethernet ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 15 m γκρι

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable is a 15 m grey network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, it supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and features gold-plated contacts. The cable is available in copper (CU) and copper-clad aluminum variants and includes strain relief and a snagless latch for connector protection.

Advantages

This Ethernet cable combines a U/UTP CAT5e construction with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts to provide reliable signal transmission for gigabit networks. Reinforced strain relief and a snagless latch reduce connector damage during installation and everyday use. The PVC jacket and available conductor variants (copper or copper-clad aluminum) allow choice according to durability and budget requirements.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• Wiring network equipment in server rooms and network cabinets
• Extending wired connections for IP cameras, printers and multimedia devices
• Temporary network setups for events or maintenance

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (CAT5e, U/UTP)
• Conductor: copper (CU) or copper-clad aluminum option
• Jacket material: PVC
• Data transfer rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Grey
• Weight: 0.545 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router, IP camera) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; use cable ties or clips to secure it in place and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in gigabit networks, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain bend radii recommended by the manufacturer. Choose the copper (CU) variant where maximum conductivity and long-term durability are required; the copper-clad aluminum variant can be used for cost-sensitive or lighter-duty installations.
