Καλώδιο Ethernet patch ShiverPeaks 75512 S/FTP Cat.7 2,0 m

Shielded Ethernet patch cable ShiverPeaks 75512 S/FTP Cat.7 2.0 m is a high-performance network cable designed for reliable wired connections in environments where electromagnetic interference and crosstalk must be minimised. The cable features individually shielded pairs and an overall foil shield with braided drain to maintain signal integrity for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over a 2.0 m length. Constructed to meet Cat.7 transmission characteristics, it is intended for short runs between switches, routers, patch panels and networked equipment.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP construction (shielded foil twisted pairs with an overall shield) provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded or partially shielded alternatives. A compact 2.0 m length reduces excess cable clutter while preserving full bandwidth for high-speed LAN and data centre links. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance, and the durable jacket and inner construction are built to withstand repeated mating cycles and everyday handling.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.7 S/FTP
• Length: 2.0 m
• Conductor: twisted pairs with individual foil shielding
• Overall shielding: foil with drain/braid
• Connector type: RJ45, gold-plated contacts
• Typical applications: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links
• Jacket: flexible outer sheath suitable for patching and short fixed runs

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on network devices until the latch clicks to ensure secure contact. Use the 2.0 m patch cable for direct connections between switches, routers, patch panels and workstations or servers. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, crushing and proximity to high-voltage power cables where possible; maintain recommended bend radius to preserve shielding and pair twisting. For installations inside racks or dense cabling trays, label each end to simplify identification and maintenance.

Recommendations

Choose shielded terminations and grounded patch panels or equipment to take full advantage of the S/FTP shielding. Do not remove the individual pair shields or overall shield when terminating; maintain shielding continuity and proper grounding for optimal performance in EMI-prone environments.
