Καλώδιο Ethernet crossover ShiverPeaks TC75811-0 Cat6 0,5 m

ShiverPeaks TC75811-0 Cat6 0.5 m crossover cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet cable designed for direct device-to-device connections. With Cat6 twisted-pair wiring and an S-STP shielding structure, this 0.5 metre cable supports data transmission up to Gigabit Ethernet rates and provides a compact solution for patching, testing and connecting nearby network equipment without requiring intermediary switches when a crossover connection is needed.

Advantages

The cable's Cat6 specification delivers improved bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables, while S-STP shielding increases resistance to external electromagnetic interference. Its crossover wiring enables direct connection between network devices that do not support auto-MDI-X, eliminating the need for an additional adapter. The short 0.5 m length minimises cable clutter in racks and test benches and reduces signal attenuation over short runs.

Suitable for

• Direct PC-to-PC connections for data transfer or configuration
• Connecting switches or routers that require a crossover cable
• Patch connections in rack cabinets and lab test setups
• Temporary links during network troubleshooting and diagnostics

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (twisted-pair)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Wiring: crossover
• Shielding: S-STP (overall and individual pair shielding)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Color: grey
• Suitable bandwidth: up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the two devices you intend to link. Ensure both devices are powered on and configured for network communication. No additional configuration is required on devices that expect a crossover connection; for modern equipment with auto-MDI-X, verify link status to confirm compatibility. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of strong electromagnetic sources for optimal signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat6 crossover cable for close-proximity connections such as rack patching, lab benches, or temporary diagnostic links. For permanent or longer-distance installations select an appropriately rated longer cable and verify device compatibility with crossover wiring or auto-MDI-X features.
