The DeLOCK Network Extension Cable Cat.6A (5 m) is a shielded S/FTP network cable designed to extend and connect Ethernet devices. It conforms to Cat.6A standards to support high-speed data transfer and is equipped with screwable RJ45 jacks that can be mounted to a slot bracket or to a housing with a suitable cut-out. The cable comes in black and measures 5 metres in length.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for stable signal transmission. Cat.6A specification ensures support for high data rates and improved performance compared with lower categories. Screwable RJ45 connectors enable secure mounting to panels or housings, preventing accidental disconnection and simplifying fixed installations.

Suitable for

• Extending Ethernet connections between devices over a 5 m distance
• Panel or housing installations where a screwable RJ45 jack is required
• Network setups requiring Cat.6A performance and S/FTP shielding

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 87005
• EAN: 4043619870059
• Cable category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Length: 5 m

How to use

Route the cable between the two network points. If mounting the screwable RJ45 jack, position the connector in the slot bracket or housing cut-out and fasten the screw mechanism according to the enclosure or bracket instructions to secure the jack. Plug the opposite RJ45 connector into the device or patch panel. Verify network link and data transfer speeds after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use Cat.6A-compliant connectors and maintain proper grounding of shielded systems when integrating the S/FTP cable into existing infrastructure.
