Καλώδιο DMX EUROLITE EC-1 IP65 3-πολικό, 5 m, μαύρο

The EUROLITE EC-1 IP65 3-pin DMX cable in black, 5 m, is a shielded cable designed for transmitting DMX512 control signals between lighting fixtures, controllers and dimmers. With its IP65-rated connectors and durable outer sheath, the cable is intended for installations that require resistance to dust and low-pressure water jets, making it suitable for temporary outdoor use and damp indoor locations. The standard 3-pin configuration matches common DMX wiring while the shielding reduces interference to maintain signal integrity over the cable length.

Advantages

The cable combines a flexible yet robust outer jacket with internal shielding to protect against electromagnetic interference and mechanical wear. Its IP65 protection at the connector level offers additional environmental resistance compared with non-rated DMX leads, allowing safer use in wet or sandy conditions. The black finish and standard connector layout ensure compatibility and discreet placement in most lighting setups.

How to use

Connect the 3-pin DMX connectors between the controller and the first fixture, or inline between fixtures, observing correct DMX polarity and termination practices. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or pinch points and secure it with appropriate clamps or ties to prevent strain on the connectors. For outdoor use, ensure connectors are mated and positioned so that water does not pool around the connection; use additional sealing or protective covers if prolonged exposure is expected.

Recommendations

To preserve signal quality, keep total cable runs within the recommended DMX512 length limits and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Inspect the jacket and connectors before each use for damage and replace the cable if shielding or connector integrity appears compromised. When deploying in permanent outdoor installations, consider additional weatherproofing and regular maintenance checks.
