Καλώδιο διπλής οπτικής ίνας InLine LC/SC 50/125µm OM4 0,5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM4 0.5m is a multimode duplex fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data links. It has a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 grading to support increased bandwidth and improved modal performance compared with lower OM grades. The cable terminates in an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other, allowing interoperability between equipment with LC and SC ports and enabling full-duplex transmission over two fibers in a compact assembly.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode fiber cable provides high bandwidth density and reduced attenuation for short- to medium-range links. The duplex configuration with LC and SC connectors simplifies connections between different transceiver types without adapters. Its 0.5 m length reduces excess looped cable in patching environments and helps maintain neat rack and cabinet installations. The construction is intended for reliable indoor use and typical controlled-environment installations where consistent optical performance is required.

Suitable for

• Data center patch panels and server connections
• Switch-to-switch or switch-to-transceiver links in enterprise networks
• High-speed storage area network (SAN) interconnects over short distances
• Laboratory and testing setups requiring OM4 multimode fiber

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM grade: OM4
• Connector A: LC (single duplex foot-print)
• Connector B: SC
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)
• Length: 0.5 m

How to use

Route the duplex cable between devices ensuring minimal bending and avoiding sharp kinks; follow the cable's minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. Align the LC connector with the LC receptacle and the SC connector with the SC port; insert until a positive connection is felt. For full-duplex links, ensure each fiber is connected to the corresponding transmit and receive ports on the devices. When not in use, protect connector end-faces with dust caps and store the cable in a clean environment to maintain optical performance.

Recommendations

Inspect connector end-faces before mating and clean with appropriate fiber-cleaning tools if contamination is present. Avoid excessive tension, crushing, or repeated tight bends. Use this 0.5 m OM4 LC/SC duplex cable for short patch runs inside racks, between adjacent devices, or where a short jumper is required to reduce slack and improve cable management.
