VALUE S/FTP (PiMF) Patch Cord RJ-45 Cat.6 2m White is a 2-meter patch cable for wired network connections between devices. It uses a prepared S/FTP (screened foil with overall braid) Cat.6 twisted-pair construction with RJ-45 plugs on both ends and gold-plated contacts. The cable is white, flexible and equipped with moulded kink protection for improved durability and reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

The cable provides full braid shielding plus individually foil-shielded pairs (PiMF) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat.6 construction with 4-pair stranded wire supports high-speed data transfer for typical Ethernet applications. Molded strain relief and screened RJ-45 connectors increase mechanical reliability and maintain consistent contact alignment (EIA/TIA 568, 1:1 contact setting).

Suitable for

• Desktop and office network connections
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels
• Home networks and small server racks
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and stable Gigabit links

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Standard: Cat.6
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on each pair, PiMF)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded wire
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Contact configuration: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (PC, switch, router or patch panel) and the other plug to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable without excessive bending; the flexible design allows installation in confined spaces while the moulded kink protection reduces strain at the plug ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or large sources of electromagnetic interference. Use appropriate cable management to prevent sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius to preserve signal integrity.
