Καλώδιο δικτύου Telegärtner CAT6a 20m

The Telegärtner CAT6a 20m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission over longer distances. Featuring S/FTP shielding and factory-fitted RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 20-metre cable supports demanding network environments where stable throughput and reduced interference are important. The cable’s white jacket offers a neutral appearance that fits residential, office, and data centre installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines individual pair foil with an overall braided shield to minimise crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact quality and save installation time compared with field-terminated solutions. The CAT6a specification provides improved performance over CAT6 for applications that require higher bandwidth and low latency.

Suitable for

• 10/100/1000 Mbps and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in small office or home networks
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices, and workstations where a fixed, long-length cable is required
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference, such as near power equipment or dense cabling runs

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6a
• Length: 20 metres
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 plug on both ends, factory-terminated
• Colour: white jacket
• Suitable frequency range: supports high-frequency transmission consistent with CAT6a performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, computer or NAS) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and protect it from mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for twisted-pair cabling to preserve performance. For permanent installations, use cable management such as clips or trunking to keep the run tidy and reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with mains power lines for long distances and keep a separation where possible. Inspect connectors periodically for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or termination shows wear. Use the CAT6a cable for links that require sustained high throughput or where interference mitigation from S/FTP shielding is beneficial.
