Καλώδιο δικτύου Telegärtner 15 m S-FTP Cat.7

The Telegärtner 15m S-FTP Cat.7 networking cable is a 15-metre Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors at both ends, engineered for high-speed wired data transmission in professional and home networks. S-FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable connections in environments with multiple electronic devices. The cable’s Category 7 specification enables performance suited to modern Gigabit Ethernet and higher-frequency applications, while the blue jacket provides a clear visual identification within structured cabling setups.

Advantages

S-FTP shielding delivers enhanced protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, helping maintain signal integrity over the full 15 m length. RJ-45 connectors provide broad compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The Category 7 rating supports higher bandwidth and improved crosstalk performance versus lower category cables, making this cable suitable for demanding data transmission requirements. The fixed 15 m length simplifies planning for medium-distance runs without the need for joins or adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, servers and network switches in offices and server rooms
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels in structured cabling installations
• High-bandwidth applications such as large file transfers, video streaming and VoIP
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.7
• Shielding type: S-FTP (overall foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Blue
• Rated for high-frequency networks and Gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your network device (switch, router, computer or patch panel) and the other connector to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a reliable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and compressions that could damage the internal conductors or shielding. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories without overly tightening ties around the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in shielded network segments or where other cables and electronic devices could introduce interference. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to power cables; if crossing is necessary, do so at a 90° angle. Verify connector seating and test the link speed after installation to confirm the cable operates at expected throughput.
