Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 10m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 10m networking cable is a 10-metre unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to help maintain reliable connectivity and reduce contact resistance. The cable supports typical Cat 6 performance parameters for structured cabling where U/UTP topology is specified.

Advantages

This Cat. 6 cable provides stable data transfer over a 10 m length while keeping installation simple thanks to standard RJ-45 terminations. Gold-plated contacts on the connectors improve conductivity and corrosion resistance. The U/UTP construction balances performance and cost, making it suitable for environments where individual pair shielding is not required but consistent Cat 6 performance is desired.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network switches within homes or small offices
• Wiring local area network (LAN) connections for routers, modems and access points
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a 10 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 6 (U/UTP)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Connector contacts: gold-plated

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device (computer, switch, router or access point) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

Use this Cat. 6 U/UTP cable for typical network connections up to 10 m. For installations requiring additional protection against electromagnetic interference, consider shielded cable types. Store and route the cable without tight bends; maintain bend radius recommendations typical for Ethernet cables to preserve signal integrity.
